About the Home and Area

5731 Lewis Court is a brand-new single-story home, built in 2026 in Suncrest, Phase 3, in Henderson County. It sits on Lot 3, a 0.748-acre lot at the end of the Lewis Court cul-de-sac. There's no HOA.

It's a modern farmhouse look. Board-and-batten siding, brick, and stone outside, on a slab foundation with a shingle roof. The 2-car garage is attached and side-entry, so the front of the house stays clean.

Inside, it's 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a half bath. Floors are luxury vinyl plank and tile. No carpet anywhere. The walls are spray foam insulated. Central heat and air, ceiling fans, and security lights outside.

Out back is an extra-large covered concrete patio.

Lake Athens is right down the road. It's 1,799 acres, impounded in 1962, and run by the Athens Municipal Water Authority, per Texas Parks and Wildlife. TPWD rates its largemouth bass fishing as excellent. The lake record bass is 14.19 pounds. The lake has special bass regulations, so check the limits before you go.

The Athens Boat Ramp on Marina Drive is about 3 minutes from the house. This home is not on the water. It's a short drive to it.

The Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center, a TPWD hatchery and visitor center on FM 2495, is about 2 minutes away.

Closest first. The Athens Boathouse Bar and Grill sits right at the Lake Athens ramp, about 3 minutes away. People go for the catfish platter and the lake view.

In town, Callaway's Coffee & Bistro on South Prairieville Street is set in an old house with couches and a patio. Coffee, baked goods, breakfast, and burgers.
